Hai Soon 26 Rescues 18 Fishermen Off Galapagos Islands

On 4th December 2020,  Hai Soon 26 steaming towards Port of Panama, at 0315 PST RCC Alameda request immediate assistant to attend the Vessel in distress. Hai Soon 26 immediately diverted 70 nautical miles to respond and assist with search and rescue of distress Vessel.  Hai Soon 26 successfully located the sinking vessel and rescued 18 survivors, and also provided food and medical assistant after transfered onboard.

All survivors are safely transfered ashore and repatriated from Port of Panama.

We appriciate and honored Captain Win Aung Htun's leadership along with Hai Soon 26 crew's professionalism ensured the survivors received lifesaving measures once they were rescued fro the sea and delivered safely ashore.

USCG recognized Hai Soon 26 good efforts of saving 18 survivors and sharing the news on their official website and scocial media.
